What represents the spirit of Halloween better than the image of a scarecrow perched ominously in a barren field? Although they keep our crops safe until the harvest, we know they cannot be altogether friendly with their distorted proportions and unnatural posture. They only wait for the proper time to descend from their posts and exact payment for their guard work.

In the smiling faces of my scarecrow art, I hope you find something sinister.
